Their sound is as schizophrenic as the content: a psychotic episode across
sub-genre boundaries which at any twitch can switch from psycho-garage to
Mersey-beat/R&B and New York City Punk Rock.

45 minutes from midtown Manhattan

By Car: Take the Belt Parkway to exit 6. Head south on Cropsey Avenue to West
17th Street. Keyspan Park and the Parachute Jump will be in front of you on Surf
Avenue. Parking is available along most streets. There are commercial parking lots
on West 17th Street and West 12th Street between Mermaid and Surf, West 15th
Street between the Boardwalk and Surf and on Neptune Avenue between West 12th
and Stillwell Avenue.

The Goddamn Gallows began on a cold, dark and violent night
in Lansing, Michigan, when 3 kids met in a face-scarring fight
with Benton Harbor gangbangers at a notorious East Lansing
flophouse. They then migrated across the country, residing in
LA squats and smoke stained apartments.
They have since added a wild mountain man washboarder and
a shredding mandolin player and are currently ravaging the
states with their unique sound of furious, twanged-out,
Americana punk rock gutterbilly.
