****************ABOUT THE BANDS***************
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BOB WAYNE AND THE OUTLAW CARNIES Dark stories of tussles with the law, drinking, fighting, cheating, murder, revenge, arson — these traditions date back further than black metal and dig deeper into the South than swamp water. With his leather vest, bandana and revolving crew of banjo players, fiddle players and upright bassists, Bob Wayne carries the torch for the outlaw country tradition with a modern punk snarl.
SEAN KERSHAW AND THE TERRIBLE TWO
Sean Kershaw & the New Jack Ramblers, purveyors of hi-octane honky tonk and long recognized as the hardest working band in Brooklyn, have just released their long-awaited debut CD “Coney Island Cowboy” and are ready to take on the world.
KEVIN OMEN
Kevin Omen was a long time fixture on the Boston Music scene, playing in many bands, most notably: fronting OTIS (Cherry Disc, Bulletproof, [euro]), THE OMEN SIGNAL and the ROCK CITY CRIMEWAVE (Pig Pile records) as well as solo performances. Currently Omen can be found fronting the heavy hitting, Brooklyn based power trio SMOKEWAGON. He also lent a hand playing banjo on the critically acclaimed ANGELS OF LIGHT 2003 release "Everything is Good Here, Please Come Home" (Young God records). Winner of a Boston Music award and nominated for yet another, Omen has established himself as a prolific American songwriter. An intense, inspiring performer, He's spent half his life performing and perfecting his craft, racking up thousands of hours on the road in the U.S. and Europe. Most recently Omen has joined forces with the Mighty Jah-C playing guitar in the NYC Rock, Soul, Hip-Hop powerhouse The Antidote as well as holding it down at the world famous SOUTHPAW.
