ABOUT CALABRESE:
"Quite simply, Calabrese is the world’s greatest horror punk band and they’re coming to get you. Jimmy, Davey & Bobby, three tremendous talents born to the same name, Calabrese. Initially inspired by legendary bands in their freshman and sophomore efforts ("13 HALLOWEENS" and "THE TRAVELING VAMPIRE SHOW" respectively), the terrifying trio branch out into new territory on their new CD, “THEY CALL US DEATH". Calabrese’s new sound rips your head off and leaves you begging for more. With their film debut in THE GRAVES, upcoming comic book and other nefarious plans afoot, Calabrese is poised to take over the world. You’ll be glad they did."
-Brian Pulido
Writer / Creator / Director - LADY DEATH.
EVIL ERNIE, and THE GRAVES
Formed in 2003 the brothers CALABRESE have quickly made their mark on the world --bite marks to be exact. "We are a very lucky band, our fans our amazing and I think selling our souls has really paid off." -Jimmy Calabrese. Fueled by the cult success of "13 HALLOWEENS" and “THE TRAVELING VAMPIRE SHOW" CALABRESE plans to unleash Hell in 2010.
Not only has CALABRESE finished recording their third CD “THEY CALL US DEATH,” for a 2010 release (with artwork from Eric “The Goon” Powell), they have also teamed up with MODERN MYTHOLOGY PRESS for a CALABRESE COMIC BOOK. In addition, CALABRESE will be making their film debut staring in THE GRAVES during the AFTER DARK HORROR FEST 4.
Even though CALABRESE have been compared to the MISFITS, RAMONES and early AFI, they have a sound all their own. "Brothers Bobby, Jimmy and Davey have not only been gifted with a last name that doubles as a great band name...which, much like 13 HALLOWEENS, is destined for cult status." - Gothic Beauty Magazine.
CALABRESE attracts those who feel confused by the current state of popular music. With distribution in the U.S., Germany, U.K., and Japan, CALABRESE are quickly converting an international audience. With consistent touring and song writing, CALABRESE are forcing their way into the nightmares of helpless fans everywhere. "I think CALABRESE is one of the top Horror Rock bands I have heard." - BLASKO (Bassist for ROB ZOMBIE and OZZY OSBOURNE).
ABOUT TOMBSTONE BRAWLERS
The Tombstone Brawlers, NY/NJ's premier psychobilly outfit, has been kicking ass and taking names since the mid 90s. With influences such as Johnny Burnette, Link Wray, and the Stiff Little Fingers, the Brawlers are not your average bar band. They’ve toured Europe with the Caravans, co-headlined The American Nightmare Festival in L.A. with the Phantom Rockers.
Their debut album, "Scary Movies," proved that the Brawlers are definitely a force to be reckoned with. The band’s second full length album, “Meathook Lover,” is scheduled for release in late Summer 2006. Also be on the lookout for “God Save the King,” a psychobilly tribute to Elvis, on which The Tombstone Brawlers will perform “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” featuring Nigel Lewis on vocals.
The ferociousness of a live Brawlers performance is worth its weight in bricks. The Tombstone Brawlers are bringing the guts and the grit back to a music scene where punk has become safe and underground has become mainstream. You’ll sweat, you’ll swear, you’ll love them or you’ll hate them, but, at the end of the night you definitely won’t forget them.
ABOUT CREEPIN' CADAVERS
The band formed in western Massachusetts in early 2007 with a merge of members from two former horror punk bands. Jeff, Al, and Scott found common interests with inspiration from artists like Eddie Cochran and Brian Setzer. Naturally, the creative process began resulting in something completely original. Starting out with shows in basements and getting the feel for their live performance, the band quickly found themselves in the studio putting down the tracks that easily caught on with crowds everywhere. Their first cd “Welcome to Arkham…” was a hit in western and central Massachusetts immediately but soon grabbed the attention of audiences in Connecticut and all over New England. In the spring of 2008 the band hit the road with a successful East Coast tour to Miami and back. They’ve shared the stage with respectable punk bands such as Darkbuster, Ashers, Deadly Sins, Bad Ash, and have closed the gap in the psychobilly world by playing with bands like Sasquatch and the Sick-a-billys, Al and the Blackcats, Koffin Kats, Phantom Rockers, The Quakes and have recently added psychobilly legends Mad Sin to their growing list.
